We need to get all book returned so we can get ready for distribution.  Please return them after exams. 
We are open from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM Monday--Thursday June 3-6

Grade 9 as of 5-31-13
Grade 10 as of 5-31-13
Grade 11 as of 5-31-13

Scanning of Textbooks:
Students are requested to witness the scanning in of their textbooks. this is done by watching the computer check-in Screen.
If a student submitted a book and it was not scanned in an obligation will be assessed.  When the book is issued in the fall the obligation will automatically removed.

ONLINE TEXTBOOK OPTION

Students have the option to use an online version of most textbooks.  Parents and students are encouraged to explore this option.  This will allow us to leave books on campus to use as class-sets. Currently, policy requires ONE textbook for each student in the core courses.  Due to budget limitations there are NO class-sets of books.   An online option will allow us to offer this option where possible.

Textbook Distribution 2013-2014

-We will NOT be issuing textbooks during class time or using obligation cards. 
-We will follow a direct check-out to the students by using their student number and the Destiny tracking/inventory system.
-Students will be issued books for classes that require a text in the Media Center on specific dates.
-Please consider the online textbook option.  See notice on left of this page.
-If you, or a representative, can not pick up your books you can pick them up on the make-up day or during the first week of school.  During the first week of school distribution will be from DATE AND TIMES TBA
-You will be required show a photo ID to pick up books.  
-See distribution dates below.

You must report on your assigned day, the make up day, or during the first week of school.

Q:" i have just seen the message about the text books, does this mean that you have to pick up all your books before school begins?"
R: Yes.  Please review textbook distribution schedule above. 
Q: "We will be away can I have a friend or family member pick them up?"
R: Yes, please just give the a signed note with your contact information and student number.
Q: "I am a freshman and can not pick them up on the freshman day.  Can I pick them up on the sophomore or junior day?"
R: No, please pick them up on one of the make up days.
Q: "How do I find my student number"
We will look it up for freshman and new students.  Upperclassmen can get this information from Pinnacle, old schedules, etc. 
Q: Will we be getting our class schedules with our textbooks? 
No.  We will have a list of classes you are scheduled to take.
Q: Does this mean I have to carry 7 books in my backpack everyday?
Potentially yes but unlikely. Some courses do not have a specific text assigned.  
Q: Do I need to bring my books the first day of class?
No
Q: When do I get my actual schedule?
On the first day of school. When you arrive on campus there will be lists posted on the building to tell you what classroom to report to.  A hardcopy of your schedule will be provided and it will list your student number.
Q: If I use the online option do I need to come on my assigned day?
Yes. Not all courses are online.
